What Happens When We Actually Gather

Finding one another

Why this gathering matters now

There is something uniquely powerful about gathering in person. Around meal tables, campfires, roundtables, worship, prayer, and late-night conversations, friendships are formed, wisdom is shared, and hope is renewed.

For many who attended NCN’s last international gathering, the experience felt less like a typical conference and more like arriving at a family reunion they did not know they had. People came from different cities, countries, churches, and communities — yet discovered a shared longing for a deeper way of life together in Christ.

This September, people from across the United States, Canada, and Mexico will gather again for the 2026 NCN International Gathering at Camp Loucon in Kentucky. Our theme is “The Shape of Love: God’s Intention for Shared Life in Community.”

Whether you are part of a long-established intentional Christian community, exploring community for the first time, or simply wondering what shared life could look like in your own context, this gathering is an invitation to learn, listen, encourage one another, make new friends, and remember that we are not alone on the journey.
